handpainted Art Deco coffee can and saucer
manufactured by the Staffordshire Potters of A.G.RICHARDSON. whose trade name was "CROWN DUCAL". The decoration is very typical of the ART DECO period, it has multi coloured handpainted fruits on a branch and finished with a mustard coloured edging. The handle of the coffee can is also finished with a mustard decoration. The underside of the can and saucer shows the CROWN DUCAL backstamp which is for the c1925 period.
